It all started when Paul ‘Smokey’ Smith gathered a few mates together in a conference room in Broad Street In Spalding on a Friday evening for a few cheeky skids.

Eventually that came to an end due to the landlord.
We then visited numerous locations as a ‘pop up track’ using carpet. After a year of not being able to use Broad Street, we were granted use the room once again and this time on a permanent basis! After running on Prima GT carpet for some time, we were in ore of the scene in Japan and the use of Ptile. So we took the plunge in August 2020 and were the first club in the UK to start running on Ptile from the motherland 🇯🇵

We lost Broad Street which was heart breaking as we’d got the place just how we wanted it ☹️ We did nothing for a while, but the search was on for a new location, then came the ‘Chicken Shed’. OMG A mammoth task to get it usable, 75 long hard days, but thanks to everyone helping during build, It was HUGE! We laid an 18 x 8m track and it was EPIC. BUT, the room had more faults than it was worth. With no running water, no proper toilet, freezing cold, a little bit smelly and much more, we had to reduce the length of the track as we were short of pit spaces during open days. When a more suitable venue came up, it was a no brainer, we had to move to Kirton.

Kirton, It’s now our home, the track is 14m & 8m and that is to the tip of our big corner. We open on Tuesdays and Friday evenings with an open day once a month. We do that so we get good numbers on 1 day and the vibe it creates is unreal. As for the driving, now people have tuned their cars for the surface, the trains are incredible. Your bum twitches like a rabbit’s nose when your car 7 of a 10 or 12 car train 😊
The entries into the big corner now are getting SO good, drivers able to run flat out, big flick and drop in to perfect formation mm apart for the entirety of the big corner!

At the end of the day, we do it to have a good time with good people, it’s a simple as that, you arrive with a smile, have a laugh and leave with a smile 😀 EVERYONE is welcome to come and join us, help & advice is offered if asked for, the fist pumps, the chats and smiles when people have good laps. That’s what we do and that’s who we are.
